Humphrey's concerts by the bay 2018
This is no April's Fools Day Joke.....Adam Ant, The Go Go's, Alt J, The Violent Femmes......argh It is going to be difficult to decide which shows to attend....( Unless I hit the jackpot in which case I would absolutely purchase a season pass).
Every Year Humphrey's concert lineup seems to be getting bigger and bigger, this small venue is one of San Diego's most precious gems.
It is intimate but provides the perfect dance friendly space with a bay front view that is second to none. The staff is always helpful and just very friendly (...A RARE FIND at most venues)
No after where you position yourself you have a great view of the stage and the sound quality is great...although some get a bit chatty by the bar tent.
Anyhow here are my Top 10 must see shows at Humphrey's This year: ( In Chronological Order Not By Importance )
1- Miguel plays on April 17....He always puts on a great show...and fans took notice, this show is sold out.
2 - AltJ hits the stage on April 19 I got to see these guys a couple of ties and they are AMAZING!
This show is fully sold out
3- Weird Al Yankovic will perform on May 12....he's just a blast and a constant reminder not to take life too seriously. This show is also sold out.
4 - Dark Start Orchestra will play June 22....Get your feet dance ready!
5- One of my favorite bands of all time; Violent Femmes will play June 25, I just caught them in LA and they are just ageless.
6 - The Go Go's ( YUP YOU READ CORRECTLY) will perform June 29th.....Tickets go on sale on the 7th of April...It's the Go Go's . GO. Enough said!
7 - July 29th will see the AMAZING @AdamAnt bringing his Anthem Tour back to San Diego... ( See The Bold Font...DON"T MISS OUT). Tickets are availav]ble for Pre sale tomorrow and will go on Sale to the gerenal public on April 7th.
8- July 30th get ready to rock out with The Decemberists
9 - Willie Nelson comes back on August 10...... A staple show at Humphreys and a true American Legend.
10- The B-52's on October 6....because come on they are just FAB!
